Welcome to Mykayla Skinner's Official Website! Mykayla is a junior international elite gymnast from Desert Lights Gymnastics in Arizona. At only 14-years-old, Mykayla has already accomplished many things in her gymnastics career.

After only competing in one level 9 meet, she moved up to level 10 and elite in 2009. Mykayla won the all-around, vault, uneven bars and floor exercise titles at the 2009 Level 10 State Championships. She then placed seventh in the all-around and first on vault at the 2009 Level 10 Regionals. There, she qualified to the 2009 JO Nationals, where she was crowned Junior A Vault Champion. In June, Mykayla qualified to junior international after placing fourth in the all-around at the 2009 Parkette Elite Qualifier.

In 2010, Mykayla qualified to the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup and finished seventh in the all-around and fifth on vault. A few weeks later, she qualified to the VISA Championships after finishing first in the all-around at the Arizona Elite Qualifier. Mykayla placed 16th on vault at the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, IL. At the VISA Championships in Hartford, CT, Mykayla finished 25th overall and eighth on vault. In 2011, Mykayla finished 10th in the all-around and second on vault at the VISA Championships. This qualified Mykayla to the Junior US National Team.
